I visited with one side of the family where nothing's changed and another where too much has. I couldn't bring myself to take too many pictures of the actual Hickory Grove reunion at the cabin because I just thought of the people who couldn't be there who I wanted there. So I just took a few pictures of weeds, red dirt and brown water. The best parts, like riding in the back of Chad's truck at night, watching the tree tops blur by and the stars remain still are probably best preserved by memory anyway.
