the iron forge used to be a slaughterhouse and this is the old thermometer.  it was actually only about 65 degrees inside but i photoshopped the needle to point at between 100 degrees and hell.  kinda cheesy but i wanted to see if i could make it look believable.

i must point out the bad quality of the last four pictures.  the chrome film i used was either old or the film lab did not process it right. 

mike and michael brave extreme conditions for the sake of contemporary art.
for this weekends opening of "American Idyll" we had to walk on the glass roof of the Contemporary Arts Center and lay black rubber on the roof to completely block the sunlight and darken the gallery..
